Dear Friends,
I am originally from Emporium, Pennsylvania. It’s a small town in Cameron County, a place in the Northcentral region that is among the most rural, wild, and beautiful in the State.
I joined the Marine Corps Reserve out of high school and served five years at a Reserve Unit in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, rising to the rank of sergeant. After graduating law school, I entered active duty. In 2017, after having served in Okinawa, Japan and Quantico, Virginia, I left the Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate holding the rank of captain.
In between that time, I graduated from PennWest-Edinboro where I played varsity football and Penn State Law where I served in the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic for a time. I’ve practiced law in the Marine Corps, rural Pennsylvania, and Western South Dakota. There were many other things in addition to these, of course, but the important part is that I am extremely fortunate to have gained a very broad base of experiences – both personally and professionally. These experiences inform my belief about what the practice of law should be.
To that end, I endeavor to accomplish a kind of advocacy that is unrivaled in its empathy, first-class in its judgment, and tenacious in its process.
Please know that I am ready to serve in your corner - should you need it.
Very sincerely,
Joe
